🖊️ Archana Tyagi’s Summary & Analysis (~200 words)

Good evening again, Lucknow. Let me share what caught my attention most today.

As a computer teacher and someone who cares deeply about education equity, the government school numbers story is one I cannot look away from. A decline of 25,000 government schools in a single year in Uttar Pradesh is significant data. When schools close or consolidate, it is almost always children from vulnerable families — SC, ST, migrant communities — who feel it hardest. Girls in particular are often withdrawn when schools become distant.

The ₹77,622 crore education budget response from the Yogi government is encouraging on paper. Model Composite Schools and digital libraries are welcome steps. But buildings and budgets only help when children can physically reach them safely. That conversation needs to continue.

On a brighter note, the AKTU AI Institute news genuinely excites me as a technology educator. Bringing GPU-powered AI research to smaller affiliated colleges through VPN is clever, practical thinking. It levels the playing field in a way that policy alone rarely does.

And to every family counting days until August 11 — the OBC scholarship portal opens in eight days. Keep your documents ready. Do not miss it.

Sham Dhale, Lucknow. Good night.
